I got bored of Chrono Trigger after unlocking three endings so now I'm back to playing Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars (GBA) for the fifth or sixth time.

Chrono Trigger DS
After playing the DS version for a fortnight, I'm actually liking how they kept pretty much everything the same. As for connections with Chrono Cross, I'm glad they were kept to a minimum because frankly I hated the game.

What makes a good dialogue?
In my pseudo-medieval project, I'm trying to get my characters speak as if they were living in the 21st century. It sounds really funny, because they've got names like ZEPHYR MAELSTROM and the people talking to them are like "Good luck, Zephyr, buddy!"
I predict the end result is going to look extremely tacky, but it's still a neat little idea I plan on working on till the very end...
EDIT: If you're making a game in a modern setting, just try and remember the speech-patterns of people in your day-to-day life, and implement those in your game.

Basically a damnable group of reptites keep asking you to do random things like "fetch such-and-such item" and...."fetch such-and-such item" (not a typo). The spoils aren't that bad, but it's still very dull work.

p.s. what does RMN feel about using commercial music in RM games? I doubt many people would DISLIKE hearing Yellow Magic Orchestra, but I wouldn't mind opinions.
